This is a hand carved Teetar Whistle that has been made by the Pardhi community living near Panna Tiger Reserve. The Pardhi community used to use this whistle to attract Francolin for meat. After the ban on hunting, the Pardhis were left without any livelihoods as hunting was the only skill they knew for generations.

This is an initiative by the Last Wilderness Foundation. By purchasing this whistle you are keeping this craft alive , helping a Pardhi earn a dignified income and helping Conservation.
